Here is a recipe for banana bajji
I like banana Bajji and i like to make new recipe. So that's why sometimes i tried to make some snacks. Banana bajji
Ingredients:
- Raw Banana (raw plantain) - 1
- Flour (besan/gram) - ¾ cup
- Rice Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Turmeric - ¼ teaspoon
- Red Chilli Powder - ½ teaspoon
- Hing Asafoetida - a pinch
- Salt - ¾ teaspoon
- Water - ½ cup
- Baking Soda - ¼ teaspoon
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions:
- Peel the raw banana and slice it into thin rounds.
- In a mixing bowl, add besan flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing and salt.
- Mix well making sure everything is combined well.
- Add water as required and make a smooth batter.
- Add baking soda and mix well.
- Dip the banana slices into the batter and coat well.
- Deep fry in hot oil until it turns golden brown.
- Drain off the bajji onto kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
